Saw Mill Capital Promotes Scott Rivard to Principal

Briarcliff Manor, New York, September 22, 2011 – Saw Mill Capital is pleased to announce that Scott Rivard has been promoted to Principal. In his new role, Scott will lead one of Saw Mill’s transactional teams. He will be responsible for sourcing and executing investments, as well as working closely with Saw Mill’s portfolio company managers to achieve their business objectives

Before joining Saw Mill in 2005, Scott was an Investment Manager and Associate at Capital Resource Partners where he was responsible for sourcing, executing, and managing private equity investments in the manufacturing and business services sectors. Prior to joining Capital Resource Partners, Scott was an investment banker in the natural resource group of Credit Suisse First Boston where he advised clients on mergers, acquisitions and corporate finance transactions. Scott has a B.A. degree in Economics from Middlebury College and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management.
