Saw Mill Capital Announces a Promotion and a Team Addition

Briarcliff Manor, New York, May 5, 2008 – Saw Mill Capital is pleased to announce two personnel changes. Timothy Nelson, formerly Vice President, was promoted to Principal and Peter Coyne joined Saw Mill as Vice President.

Howard Unger, Managing Partner, commented that, “Since joining us in 2003, Tim has made tremendous contributions to our firm, and is now ready to take a leadership responsibility for one of our transaction teams. In this role he will be sourcing and executing investments, as well as working closely with our portfolio company managers to achieve their business objectives.”

HWe are also pleased to announce that to support the continued growth of Saw Mill, we have increased our investment team with the addition of Pete Coyne as Vice President. “Pete has not only investment experience, but also significant managerial and operational experiences, which will be invaluable due to our firm’s operational focus,” said Scott Budoff, a Partner.

Prior to joining Saw Mill Capital in 2008, Pete led strategic sourcing for Crane Co., a $2.7 billion manufacturer of highly engineered products. He also spent several years at Danaher, where he managed a sub-plant and held multiple operational assignments. Before Danaher, Pete was an investment professional at Mellon Ventures where he sourced, executed, and managed private-equity investments. He began his career as an analyst in First Union Securities Leveraged Finance Group. He has a B.S. degree in Chemistry from The College of William and Mary and an M.B.A. from The Darden School at the University of Virginia.
